Key Responsibilities

This role involves leading the development and implementation of strategic community engagement plans for priority projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community engagement, excellent communication skills, and experience in leading teams.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
  • Facilitation of community and stakeholder forums
  • Issues management
  • Content development

The successful candidate will contribute to fostering a best-practice approach to community and stakeholder engagement within the organization.

About You

You are a leader with a highly developed community engagement and communication skill set and well-rounded interpersonal skills. You can manage teams and develop lasting relationships to achieve mutual beneficial outcomes.

You are inquisitive and curious while seeking to bring creativity and innovation to problem-solving. At your heart, you are community-minded and understand the need to keep our communities and customers informed and involved on projects.

With a sound risk radar and experience in issues management, you are capable of working autonomously and providing end-to-end delivery of community engagement activities for major projects.

Your experience in community engagement leadership is underpinned by your qualifications in community engagement and communications. You are organised and genuinely passionate about generating customer-friendly information and adapting it for different platforms.
