About the RoleWe are seeking a Trainee Business Support Officer to join our forward-thinking team on a two-year fixed term contract at our Cambridge depot. As a Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience while earning your Certificate III in Business.
The Certificate III in Business will equip you with practical skills to work successfully in an office environment. Our team will provide on-the-job training and support. Some key responsibilities include:
- Diving deep into procurement, purchasing, and business systems with real-world experience.
- Working directly with suppliers and vendors to manage key business partnerships.
- Developing skills in financial systems and tools like SAP, understanding key commercial practices.
- Managing data quickly and accurately.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Ability to effectively handle multiple conflicting priorities.
- Strong computer literacy and competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Completion of Year 12 TCE.
- Understanding of payments processes.
- Experience building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A valid driver's licence (desirable).
