Job Description

As a senior HR professional, you will play a critical role in providing strategic human resources advice and support to designated sites and services.

You will work closely with the Director - People and Culture Operations and the Regional People and Culture Manager to provide expert guidance on staffing and industrial issues, including interpretation of awards and agreements.

Key responsibilities include managing disputes, grievances, and disciplinary processes, consulting and negotiating with unions as required, and supporting regional Victorian sites and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources and / or industrial relations or equivalent industry experience
  • Extensive experience managing complex situations in relation to dispute resolution, grievance and disciplinary processes
  • Experience and expertise in interpretation of awards and agreements, particularly in relation to the Aged Care sector
  • Experience in analysing, amending or constructing residential aged care rosters
  • Experience in planning and implementing a range of organisational change situations
  • Aged Care, Social and Community Services or Healthcare experience highly desirable
