About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Data Center and Network Capacity Planning team in APAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing demand requirements and available network resources to determine and drive prime solutions for our customers.

You will work closely with stakeholders to complete pre-requisites necessary to deliver critical networking capacity, lead programs to improve infrastructure resource utilization and availability, and collaborate with teams across the AWS Organization to effectively plan and deliver data center capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
  • Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs.
  • Provide regular program progress reporting.
  • End-to-end responsibility for program execution and success.
  • Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
  • Keep customer experience as primary focus.
About the Team

The Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team ensures data center network and port capacity is available for incoming customer racks (demand). Customer racks need this capacity (networking racks) to gain access to the AWS network to provide service capacity for AWS customers.

TIPMs are responsible for coordinating with the Build's Infra TIPMs, IDND, Optical NW team, and Supply Chain to ensure datacenter capacity is planned and delivered on time.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
  • 3+ years experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure.
  • Excellent written composition and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
