Cloud Data Center Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Center Operations Manager to join our global team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of data center locations, ensuring continuous, secure, and compliant operations.
About the RoleThis is a highly collaborative role that requires effective communication and coordination with internal teams and external service providers. You will oversee data center co-location operations, maintain relationships with external vendors, and lead the execution and orchestration of all build activities and projects in the data center.
Responsibilities- Oversight of data center co-location operations, ensuring high standards and conducting regular service reviews.
- Maintenance of effective relationships and communication with external service providers/vendors involved in data center operations.
- Leadership of the execution and orchestration of all build activities and projects in the data center.
- Ensuring timely and coordinated project delivery, maintaining project documentation and status reports.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking, and power/cooling systems.
- Proven experience with hardware installations, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficient in data center management tools and monitoring software.
- Familiarity with virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
- Knowledge of SAP infrastructure and cloud services.
- Understanding of contract management and financial principles relevant to data center operations.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data center management and IT infrastructure.
- 5+ years of IT operational experience with a focus on coordinating and overseeing tasks performed by other team members.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
