Security Systems Designer and Engineer for Data Centers

About the Role
">We are seeking a skilled Physical Security Architect/Engineer to join our team at Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd. This is a unique opportunity to work on designing and engineering security systems for data centers globally, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
">Key Responsibilities
">- ">
- Design and engineer security systems for data center basis of design (BOD) projects, including electronic systems, site and building elements.">
- Supervise and approve all designs deliverables developed by architects/engineers of record and for BOD projects at each milestone of a project.">
- Coordinate with other disciplines in the design process, such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, telecom, structural, etc.">
- Use Blue Beam and other drafting technologies to work collaboratively with design teams to produce designs in Revit/CAD.">
- Create specialty templates for unique workflows within global programs.">
- Collaborate with security teams as a subject matter expert for optimization of security technologies, practices, and applications across organizations.">

">The Team
">You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
">Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 per annum

">Required Skills and Qualifications
">- ">
- BA/BS degree in Engineering or Physical Security or equivalent experience.">
- 10+ years' experience in physical security system design and engineering.">
- 5+ years' experience with one or more drafting technologies such as REVIT, AutoCad, BlueBeam, and others.">
- PSP, CPP, PMP Certification, CPTED Certification.">
- Experience living abroad, extensive travel, or demonstrated ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.">
