About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Claims Specialist to join our team at GB Global. As a Technical Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing specialist technical oversight and knowledge to our claims team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to claims staff on complex claims matters
  • Review and endorse sustainable claims decisions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Liaise with legal parties to resolve claims disputes and provide technical reviews to complex claims management strategies
  • Develop and implement effective claims management strategies to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Mentor and coach claims staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the Workers Compensation industry, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge, with the ability to interpret and apply complex legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with claims staff, legal parties, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Law degree or industry-related certifications
