Key Responsibilities- Hunt and Convert New Accounts: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the café and restaurant segment, with a focus on the Brisbane Metropolitan Area.
- Coffee Product Knowledge and Training: Teach prospects about our coffee offerings, including organizing cupping sessions, barista training, and roastery tours.
- Networking and Lead Generation: Attend coffee industry events, conferences, and trade shows to develop new leads and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Commercial Negotiations and Presentations: Manage commercial negotiations and prepare presentations to pitch our coffee products to identified prospects.
- Account Setup and Management: Coordinate the setup of new accounts, including site checks, equipment requests, and installation dates.
- Coffee Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to ensure our coffee products meet the expected brand standard.
- Handover to Territory Sales Specialist: Hand over the day-to-day management of new accounts to the territory sales specialist, approximately 3 months post-setup.
- Coffee Industry Experience: A minimum of several years of experience working in the coffee industry, preferably as a barista, café owner, coffee trainer, or coffee account manager.
- Commercial Mindset and Negotiation Skills: A strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Network and Relationships: A network of contacts within the coffee industry and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Autonomy and Teamwork: Comfortable working autonomously while on the road and as part of a team.
- Driver's License and Work Rights: A valid driver's license and long-term work rights in Australia.
