About the Role

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, you will be part of the School of Science at the University of New South Wales Canberra. The School is one of five Schools at UNSW Canberra and consists of six disciplines: Aviation, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Oceanography.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to course and curriculum delivery, cultivating a vibrant research portfolio.
  • Craft publications, guide students, drive grant applications, and contribute to the administration of the school.
  • Develop and deliver courses and programs at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a PhD in experimental condensed matter physics or a related discipline. They will also have expertise in cryogenic techniques and performing measurements at low temperatures. Additionally, they will be able to contribute to and build on the School's research and teaching, and have demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches.
