Job Summary

Civil Services Group is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing road construction and maintenance projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead projects from a contractor's standpoint, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, programming, and resource allocation.
  • Procure road making materials and project services within guidelines.
  • Implement project management techniques and systems in accordance with company processes.
  • Submit regular reports and provide information to management.
  • Train and guide project staff on specifications and construction processes.
  • Contribute to the estimating process for bids or offers.
  • Ensure compliance with TMR Technical Specifications and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in road construction and maintenance project management.
  • Strong knowledge of TMR Technical Specifications and experience delivering TIC(SI), MW, and RMPC contracts.
  • Working knowledge of project management software, including SAP, P6, or similar packages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong computer literacy.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and their effective application on construction projects.
  • Current drivers' license and the right to work in Australia.
