About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at JC Civil Projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering expert engineering solutions, including cost estimation, project management, and contractual claim management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate project feasibility and identify potential risks
  • Develop accurate cost estimates for construction projects
  • Coordinate tendering and procurement processes
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with contractors and suppliers
  • Create and maintain project schedules
  • Contribute to value engineering efforts
  • Assess project risks and propose mitigation strategies
  • Manage stakeholder communication and expectations
  • Ensure compliance and maintain project documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering, Civil (or equivalent)
  • Minimum five (5) years of demonstrable post-graduate, 'hands-on', site-based project experience
  • Intermediate to proficient understanding and use of several systems, including Expert Estimation, Asta Power Project, MS Project, Primavera P6
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of construction regulations and standards
