Job Title: Support Care Specialist

CarePro is seeking an experienced Support Care Specialist in the Health and Community sector.

  • Community Access: Assist clients in accessing community facilities and services.
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Domestic Assistance: Perform basic cleaning tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation.
  • Driving Automatic Wheelchair Van: Safely transport clients using a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Cert III or IV in Disability or Aged Care Services
  • National/International Police Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Screening Check
  • Infection Control Training
  • Vaccination record against COVID-19
  • First Aid Certificate (incl. resuscitation)
  • Valid Driver's License and Access to an insured vehicle
  • Introduction to the NDIS training module certificate
  • Access to a registered car with comprehensive insurance

Work Requirements:

  • Afternoon shift
  • Flexible hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Public holidays
  • Shift work
  • Weekend availability

Preferred Candidate:

  • Previous experience working in the disability sector
  • Experience working with clients in wheelchairs
  • Working experience with using HOIST equipment
