This pivotal role as Strategic Human Resources Manager involves providing expert advice and support to the business, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies in a complex government environment.
The successful candidate will lead a small, specialist team and work collaboratively with senior management and stakeholders to drive strategic HR initiatives that align with organisational objectives. Key accountabilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective human resources policies and frameworks that support efficient and responsible management across the department.
- Leading the development and review of policies and procedures within the TMR HR policy framework, ensuring seamless integration with organisational goals.
- Providing high-level strategic advice to senior management on human resources governance and policy initiatives that drive business outcomes.
- Fostering partnerships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Driving continuous improvement of quality policy processes through collaboration with operational areas to build policy capability and address strategic issues.
- Maintaining the department's HR Management Delegations, providing expert advice on delegated authority to HR delegates, managers, and employees.
