This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding company addressing one of Australia's biggest environmental challenges. Based at Smithfield, NSW, this exciting role will provide exposure to world-leading processes and assets for recovering metals such as gold, copper, and palladium from electronic waste.

Join a large-scale bio-refinery in Sydney.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to plant operational procedures for production goal achievement and handle work safely
  • Manage Control Room Operations as per established procedures
  • Be the overall eyes and ears for plant operation, communicating with operators on the shop floor, supervisors, and other relevant personnel
  • Oversee the control desk consisting of HMI computer screens and manage any issues in a timely manner
  • Support other company objectives as required
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned or delegated within your skills, qualifications, and competencies

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a Control Room Role and Processing environment
  • Experience with project work and time management is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with the Waste Management Safety Act and Regulation is essential
  • A good understanding of applicable Health and Safety standards and codes of practice is necessary
