Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Production Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience in a relevant engineering role and a degree in engineering or a related field. This role is critical in optimizing our production processes and ensuring the efficient operation of our plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Project Plans

Develop and implement project plans, including timelines and budgets, to ensure successful project execution.

Client Coordination

Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Patching Technique Analysis

Analyze existing structures to determine patching techniques and materials that meet industry standards.

Collaboration with Structural Engineers

Collaborate with structural engineers on concrete integrity assessments to ensure the stability and durability of our projects.

Material Selection and Sourcing

Research and select appropriate patching materials that meet industry standards, ensuring they are suitable for specific project environments.

Process Refining

Refine concrete patching processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste, aligning with our company's commitment to sustainability.

Quality Control Measures

Establish quality control measures to meet project specifications, guaranteeing high-quality results for our clients.

Ongoing Work Inspections

Conduct regular inspections of ongoing work and finished patches to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Data Collection and Analysis

Monitor patching application performance over time, gathering data to enhance future project methods and drive process improvements.

Health and Safety Compliance

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, developing safety protocols and providing training to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.

Team Leadership and Supervision

Lead and supervise project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.

Safety Training and Mentorship

Provide training and mentorship on safety measures and technical skills to team members, promoting a culture of safety and continuous learning.

Cost Estimation and Budget Management

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, monitoring budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities to optimize resource allocation.

Project Progress Updates

Maintain communication with clients regarding project progress, keeping them informed of any developments or changes.

Lessons Learned and Reporting

Prepare reports on project outcomes and lessons learned, highlighting areas for improvement and best practices for future projects.

Innovation and Experimentation

Experiment with innovative materials and techniques to enhance services and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications:
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience in a production or plant engineering role
  • A strong understanding of production processes and engineering principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools
