Domestic Operations Leader

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the transformation and customer service strategy of our Priority business across Australia.

This national leadership role demands strategic thinking, strong operational acumen, and a people-first approach. As the GM – Domestic Operations (Priority), you will lead a geographically dispersed team, overseeing the efficient delivery of our Priority network operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, and alignment with our national strategy.
  • Strategic Impact: Drive cultural change, optimise performance, and inspire teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Financial Management: Manage multimillion-dollar operational budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a culture of safety, adhering to OHS compliance and risk management frameworks.
  • People & Performance: Lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years' senior leadership experience in operations roles.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian logistics networks, depot operations, and linehaul/PUD performance metrics.
  • Industrial relations and workforce planning experience in unionised environments.
  • Proven ability to lead national operations and depot networks in logistics or transport environments.
