Commodities Market Insights Specialist


Job Description:

We seek a Commodities Market Insights Specialist to bridge the gap between market intelligence and trading. The ideal candidate will deliver real-time insights and conduct in-depth fundamental analysis to inform trading strategies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis on global commodity markets.
  • Track regulatory developments globally that are relevant to commodity trading.
  • Identify, monitor, and evaluate upcoming catalysts for the commodity markets we trade.
  • Generate trading ideas based on expected volatility and direction.
  • Monitor supply/demand trends, inventory levels, shipping flows, and policy changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a commodities-focused analytical role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong understanding of global commodity markets and macroeconomic factors.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data handling, modeling, and visualization.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg or other market intelligence platforms.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken).
