Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with Daily Living Skills: Assist clients with daily living skills and community activities that cater to their unique needs, including personal hygiene, medication management, and transportation to appointments and events.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with clients' clinical teams, attend training sessions, and receive regular updates to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Implementing Intervention Techniques: Implement appropriate intervention techniques and psychosocial supports as described in clients' behavior support plans.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Accurately record and report client data to address challenges and achieve personal goals.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or Disability
  • 6 Months Experience in a Similar Role
  • Availability during Weekdays and Weekends
  • Covid-19 Vaccine Recommended but Not Mandatory
  • NDIS Workers Check
  • Drivers Licence and Car with Comprehensive Insurance
  • Available for an Immediate Start
  • Working with Children Check
  • High-Level Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Impeccable Presentation at All Times
  • Experience in Managing Clients with Challenging Behaviours
  • Skills/Experience in Working with Diversity, Including Young People who are Culturally and Linguistically Diverse
  • Excellent Working Knowledge in Mental Health Services
