**The Role**

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a friendly Catering Assistant position at our aged care residence in Peakhurst.

**Roster**:Mon to Tue (4:30pm
- 7:30pm) ; Fri (7:00am to 3:00pm OR 4:30pm-7:30pm)

**What This Role Involves**:

- Assisting with basic, general food preparation
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
- Dishwashing and cleaning of both kitchen & dining areas
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
- Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
- Assisting the broader team as required

**What We Require From You**:

- Previous experience assisting in kitchen operations, food preparation and/or customer service
- Ability to work well independently as part of a team
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
