Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Injury Management Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of injured workers, minimizing the impact on premiums, and promoting a culture of health and safety within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training and support to managers to facilitate the return to work of injured employees.
  • Ensure accurate and complete information on injured workers by collecting, recording, and reporting as required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for workers' compensation claims, brokers, and medical consultants.
  • Facilitate communication between Anglicare, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
  • Escalate matters to the Head of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing as necessary.
  • Implement wellbeing, return to work, and reasonable adjustment initiatives to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims to minimize premium impact and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Update safety documentation, process claims, and communicate with ICARE through the Solve platform.
Requirements
  • SIRA accredited Return to Work Coordinator, essential.
  • 5+ years of experience in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.
  • Strong data entry and administration skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment, WH&S systems, ISO 45001 filing, and the SIRA checklist.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
