**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Transport Asset Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the council's transport assets, ensuring they are maintained in good condition and operating efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the council's transport assets, including buses, trains, and other vehicles;
  • Ensure all assets are properly maintained and serviced in accordance with council policies and procedures;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective asset management practices;
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and members of the public;

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as asset management, business administration, or engineering;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in asset management or a related field;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with asset management software and systems.
