Job Opportunity: Associate Director, Emerging Corporate

  • Job Description:
  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Emerging Corporate & Origination team as an Associate Director. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage a portfolio of key Emerging Corporate clients, including Technology and eCommerce.
  • You will be responsible for identifying new business and referral opportunities, establishing and developing networks of internal and external contacts, and leading origination and structuring of new transactions.
  • Your expertise in credit risk management and analysis will enable you to maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio.
  • In addition, you will consult with both the broader Business & Private Bank business and Corporate & Institutional Banking team to assist with the smooth transitioning of Emerging Corporate clients.
  • Annual business/strategic plans for the customer portfolio allocated will also be your responsibility.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong prior demonstrated experience within business banking, corporate banking and/or similar related fields.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on business development, sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.
  • Proven track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally.
  • A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
  • Experience and ability to engage, partner and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment but also with a continuous improvement lens and comfortable with autonomy.
