Job Opportunity

As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic leadership to the Brisbane Magistrates Court, fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery and innovation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the court with strong effective leadership and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and build professional relationships with stakeholders and community groups to deliver effective services.
  • Develop strategies to improve community understanding of the justice system and assist disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Maintain effective workforce planning, performance management, staff development, and mentoring frameworks.
  • Perform statutory duties as Clerk of the Court and Registrar.
  • Represent the department on committees and at meetings.
