We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Employment Placement Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a drive to succeed in their career, while helping people obtain new employment.

As an Employment Placement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to utilise your recruitment and career development skills to support people with injuries return to work. You will be responsible for building relationships with employers and organisations to generate suitable vacancies for clients, engaging in the local community to identify employment opportunities, and marketing subsidised programs to incentivise employers to consider clients for employment.

About the Role
  • Build strong relationships with employers and organisations to source job opportunities for clients
  • Engage with the local community to identify potential employment opportunities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote subsidised programs to employers
  • Provide face-to-face support to clients to enhance their confidence and independence in job seeking skills
  • Liaise with hiring managers on behalf of clients to facilitate successful employment outcomes
  • Assist clients in addressing key selection criteria and preparing for interviews

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Support: Work closely with clients to understand their employment goals and aspirations, providing guidance and support to enhance their employability.
  • Employer Engagement: Build relationships with employers and organisations to source job opportunities for clients, negotiate terms and conditions, and ensure successful placement outcomes.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement effective strategies to promote subsidised programs to employers, including marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the local community to identify potential employment opportunities, build relationships with community stakeholders, and develop partnerships to support client employment outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices to achieve outstanding client outcomes.
