Our mission is to create innovative transportation solutions that connect people and places. We're seeking a skilled Lead Roads Designer who will lead the geometric design production on assigned roads, highways, and related civil projects within the Roads & Highways section.

The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge of geometric modelling methods, applicable codes (AustRoads in particular), and specifications associated with road and highway infrastructure projects. They will also have a solid understanding of Transport for NSW and AustRoads design standards, including geometric design, barrier design, pavement, and line marking design.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the geometric design production on assigned projects.
  • Develop suitable road alignment options and solutions for assigned projects.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to deliver high-quality designs.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Significant knowledge of geometric modelling methods, applicable codes, and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of Transport for NSW and AustRoads design standards.
  • Experience with various aspects of the design process, construction methods, and interface requirements.
  • Working understanding of design and drafting software packages.
