Responsibilities
  • Engage in electronic project design and development activities including concept, feasibility, schematic capture, PCB artwork, verification, test and manufacture.
  • Act as a product lead and subject matter expert, guiding clients and project teams.
  • Contribute to the development of the hardware team by improving your own capabilities and developing junior colleagues.
  • Ensure quality standards are met in line with the company's quality management system.
  • Estimate current and potential work for the hardware team.
  • Perform technical reviews for hardware designs and documents.
  • Act as technical contact to clients and project managers for electronics design matters.
  • Contribute to improving hardware design processes, procedures, systems and documentation.
Minimum Criteria (Qualifications)
  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a working visa.
  • Hold a relevant degree from a reputable university (e.g., Bachelor of Electronics Engineering).
  • Have worked as a professional electronics design engineer for 7 or more years.
  • Be registered as a professional engineer in Victoria (if based in Victoria).
  • Be competent in the design of analog and digital electronics.
  • Have experience in the design of electronic products from concept to manufacture.
  • Be proficient in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
