Beachside Venue Operations Manager

Job Description

At our Noosa beachfront venue, we're seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Operations Manager to lead the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery, managing relations with shareholders, and championing elevated service standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong English communication skills, written and spoken
  • Polite personal manner, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Great memory for faces and ability to engage customers and staff and build excellent rapport
  • Well-groomed and professional appearance
  • 18-36 months Management Experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Confidence managing both front and back of house, with a focus on elevated service standards
  • Strong stakeholder management – able to effectively collaborate with owners, resort management, suppliers, and wider business teams
  • Current QLD RSA
  • Australian working rights
  • Computer literacy and experience with reservation platforms (e.g. SevenRooms)
  • Genuine passion for hospitality, with a commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and a belief that consistency creates extraordinary guest experiences
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve and keep cool under pressure
  • Solid understanding of hospitality costs, and budgeting
  • Italian food and wine knowledge (preferred)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certification (or willingness to obtain)
