Job Overview

The Financial Crime Analyst role plays a critical part in preventing, detecting, and investigating financial crime impacting customers. The incumbent will work closely with affected customers to discuss event details and use investigative techniques to gather information efficiently.

This involves liaising with customers via phone and email, providing education and exceptional service while maintaining a strong focus on identifying and reporting suspicious activity. The analyst will also conduct comprehensive investigations in accordance with process and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into alleged cases of financial crime
  • Analyze evidence and present findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Provide expert advice on fraud prevention and detection strategies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the financial services industry or a similar field
  • Demonstrable experience and/or exposure to criminal investigation techniques including evidence management and presentation
  • Demonstrated expertise in consumer lending is highly desirable
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
