Clinical Leadership Opportunity in Stroke Care

This key role provides expert clinical advice and consultancy services to referring sites, driving practice development across NSW.

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 3, you will work closely with the Prince of Wales Hospital Stroke Department, TSS host site team, referring site clinicians, and the NSW Telestroke Working Group.

  • Provide clinical supervision of referring site stroke coordinators and support the development of and implementation of care management plans for patients with complex health needs.
  • Mobilise to travel to the TSS referring sites (up to 22 sites) across NSW as required.
  • Collaborate with the TSS Nurse Educator to ensure a consistent, well-integrated clinical service is delivered.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse/Midwife, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Minimum seven years full-time equivalent post-qualification experience
  • Demonstrated advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice
  • Proven leadership in strategic and clinical service planning
