Salary:**$32.73 - $40.26 per hour**

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in Mernda. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients with daily living tasks, personal care, and community access.

  • Personal Care (showering, dressing, bowel care, and toileting) and Manual Handling (hoisting, etc.)
  • Physical Therapy/Hydro support
  • Domestic Services and Meal Assistance

You will work closely with our clients to understand their individual needs and preferences, developing personalized support plans that promote independence and autonomy.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check
  • A current First Aid Certification and CPR (Valid for 12 months)
  • A current Working with Children's Check (Employer)
  • Related qualifications (e.g., Certificate in Disability, Aged Care, and/or Home and Community Care)
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia
