Disability Support Professional

Ability Plus Disability Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Mernda, VIC. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care activities such as showering, dressing, bowel care, and toileting.
- Provide manual handling assistance, including hoisting and other physical therapies.
- Support clients with domestic services and meal assistance.
- Accompany clients on community access outings.
- Current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check.
- First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Working with Children's Check.
- Related qualifications in disability, aged care, or home and community care.
- Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Sound communication skills, both verbal and written.
