Job Summary

The Shipping Manager role oversees the efficient movement of goods globally, leading a team and managing third-party providers to ensure timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

  • Manage imports and exports across Australia, New Zealand, the US, and Singapore.
  • Develop and lead freight strategies, evaluate supplier performance, and negotiate contracts.
  • Oversight of freight costs, forecasting, and reporting for product margin analysis.
  • Ensure customs and regulatory requirements are met in all regions.
  • Maintain end-to-end shipment visibility within ERP systems.
  • Lead and develop the Shipping team, including a Shipping Specialist and Coordinator.
  • Implement process improvements and cost efficiencies, including container optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across production, distribution, and warehouse teams.
  • This is an on-site role requiring a 5-day workweek.
About You

We are seeking a candidate with 8+ years' experience in freight, logistics, or global shipping management.

  • Proven knowledge of customs/import laws and international shipping regulations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and freight negotiation skills.
  • Experience with Fashion, FMCG, or high-volume product logistics.
  • Excellent time management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
