We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to fill the position of Deputy Head of Year 9.
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team of educators and contribute to the academic and personal growth of our students. As a Deputy Head of Year 9, you will be responsible for overseeing the learning and wellbeing of students in the section, organising and facilitating section assemblies, communicating information to staff, and collaborating with the Head of Section to provide oversight of operations and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputise for the Head of Year 9 when required
- Oversight of student tracking process
- Development and oversight of House Program
- Facilitating student leadership programs such as the Student Council
Requirements:
- A current VIT registration is mandatory for this role
- Experience working in a similar role or capacity is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position
