This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a defined panel of patients as a Nurse Practitioner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough clinical examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for acute and chronic diseases, as well as preventive care and coordination of care for primary care patients.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, assess the effectiveness of care, and meet VA performance measures.
  • Lead the team in resolving patient concerns and inquiries in collaboration with patient advocates and administration.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A post-master's certificate or master's or doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • All NPs must possess and maintain an active, current, full, and unrestricted APN license to practice as an NP in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Certification: Basic Certification in a clinical specialty area from a nationally recognized certifying body such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of experience in primary care.
