Job Title: Primary Care Healthcare Provider
">This position presents an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our nation's Veterans. As a skilled professional in primary care services, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to a defined panel of patients.
">To excel in this role, the successful candidate will possess a high level of medical knowledge and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
">Key responsibilities will include history taking, physical examination, ordering laboratories and diagnostic studies, diagnosis and formulation of treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions within the scope of Medicine practice.
">You will work closely with other healthcare professionals as part of a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery. Additionally, you will be expected to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based guidelines to continually improve patient outcomes.

">Education Requirements: A post-master's certificate or master's or doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing programs must have their degree equivalency validated through an Agency recognized degree equivalency evaluation agency.
">License and Certification: All APN (NPs) must possess and maintain an active, current, full, and unrestricted APN license to practice as an NP in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Basic Certification: All APN (NPs) must maintain full and current board certification in an area of clinical specialty from one of the following: the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), or other nationally recognized certifying body in the area in which the Nurse Practitioner is academically prepared.
