Support Specialist Role

As a Support Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides top-notch technical assistance to customers. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional service.

You will be responsible for handling technical issues across software, networks, and databases, while working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless system performance. Your day-to-day activities will involve troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving production issues in a timely manner.

  • Provide expert technical support for software, network configurations, databases, and application environments.
  • Triage, diagnose, and resolve production issues—ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
  • Conduct code-level troubleshooting and ensure software consistency across all environments.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Test and validate new software releases prior to deployment.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to implement fixes, patches, and enhancements.
  • Proactively manage customer expectations, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds agreed standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related field.
  • Possess strong experience in IT support, with expertise in database server management (Oracle, SQL) and troubleshooting.
  • Have solid understanding of networking protocols and security practices.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple technical issues with strong prioritization skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Be proficient with Windows and Microsoft products.
  • Display proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive and analytical approach.
