IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients across various locations.

This is an on-call, ad-hoc dispatch role with a varying scope per client. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide prompt and effective technical support to clients via phone, email or in-person
  • To troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, networks, firewalls and other IT systems
  • To maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions
  • To collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and technologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in CCNA or above
  • Experience with MS Office installation and administration
