Job Role Overview

The role of a Technical Service Specialist Expert involves providing accurate and prompt service direction to field inquiries via telephone, and the web for assigned products.


Main Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostics for technical issues
  • Communication in the forms of tele-service, web communication, service publications, dealer service training, and warranty claim review
  • Authoring technical documentation and monitoring campaign execution in regions
  • Supervising the CS Escalation process and Full Harvesting portfolio of the region
  • Processing inquiries related to product failure diagnostics, performance, reliability, product features, service administration, product training, and warranty

Key Impact Areas

You will have a significant impact on the success of our team by:

  • Ensuring Issues are addressed quickly and solutions developed/communicated appropriately into the region
  • Providing complete information in responses that are also available for future reference by other Specialists

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A comprehensive technical knowledge of products and mechanical/electrical systems
  • Knowledge of service/parts management methods
  • Good knowledge of mechanized agriculture and land preparation techniques
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • A good understanding of the farm machinery dealer network
  • High level PC expertise and Office Package
