Associate Director Funding & Finance

The Associate Director, Funding & Finance will oversee the financial and commercial aspects of a significant water security project in South Australia. This role is responsible for developing and refining deterministic & probabilistic quantitative pricing models for the sale of desalinated water to off-takers, ensuring a feasible, sound, and effective commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mitigate risks associated with large-scale commercial construction and operations.
  • Ensure robust quality control and assurance processes for all quantitative works.
  • Support the resolution of sensitive matters and disputes.
Requirements:

Highly skilled at translating complex modeling into understandable insights for a range of audiences, you possess a gift for simplifying complexity, translating technical jargon into compelling stories, and conveying quantitative analyses in clear and simple terms. You will thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, and pioneering environment and enjoy tackling novel 'problems' to navigate complexities such as the variety of off-takers and the substantial speed, scale, and duration of service provision.

Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Preferably with experience in large-scale mining, energy, or major infrastructure projects.
