Job Description

The role of Senior Cost Manager - Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist involves supporting Data centre projects in Sydney, mainly to support post-contract activities. The Senior Cost Manager will provide support to the team across all aspects of projects, including cost estimates, quantity take-off, value engineering, tendering, and evaluation, progress claim, and variation assessment, final account close-out.
The ideal candidate will have a Quantity Surveying or related degree, 5-7 years of post-graduate experience, and be a member of AIQS or RICS. Experience in CostX is preferred, and Data Centre experience is ideal but not required. The candidate will have good communication skills and be able to engage with the market to obtain quotations/pricing to support cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Senior cost management across all aspects of Data centre projects
- Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan report
- Measurement of all building elements for cost planning
- Engage with the market to obtain quotations/pricing to support cost estimates
- Progress claim and variation assessments and valuations
