Job Summary

The role of Feasibility Cost Manager & Post-Contract Cost Manager involves delivering retail projects. Responsibilities include:

  1. Project deliverables through the life of the project, including Estimating, Procurement, Contract, and Post-Contract activities for projects valued between $1m to $10m.
  2. Develop good working relationships with client project management teams and internal cost management teams.
  3. Gain a good understanding of the processes, tools, and best practice templates used to meet our deliverables.
  4. Gain a good understanding of the terminology and ways of working within the retail sector.
  5. Provide clients with cost advice for budget purposes, including cost planning of upcoming projects (new stores and renewals). This may involve site walks within NSW.
  6. Clearly understand our scope of service and carry out commission management functions at project level.
  7. Feasibility cost plans.
  8. Manage deliverables for retail projects at different stages within a large programme of works.
  9. Oversee 5 to 6 projects within supermarkets and metro workstreams.
  10. Act as the key point of contact at project level between T&T and the client delivery project manager.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. A recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar field.
  2. Sound experience in cost planning.
  3. Ability to manage projects independently and possess good client-facing skills.
  4. CostX experience.
  5. A valid driving license.
