Job Overview

The role of Feasibility Cost Manager & Post-Contract Cost Manager involves delivering retail projects with values between $1m to $10m. This position requires strong project management skills, including estimating, procurement, contract, and post-contract activities.

  • Develop good working relationships with client project management teams and internal cost management teams.
  • Gain a deep understanding of processes, tools, and best practice templates used to meet our deliverables.
  • Gain a good understanding of the terminology and ways of working within the retail sector.
  • Provide clients with cost advice for budget purposes, including cost planning of upcoming projects (New Stores and Renewals). This may involve site walks within NSW.
  • Clearly understand our scope of service and carry out commission management functions at project level.
  • Manage deliverables for retail projects at different stages within a large programme of works.
  • Oversee 5 to 6 projects within Supermarkets and Metro workstreams.
  • Serve as the key point of contact at project level between T&T and the client delivery project manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar field.
  • Sound experience in cost planning.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and possess excellent client-facing skills.
  • Familiarity with CostX software.
  • A valid driving license.
