The Role

This Senior Project Cost Manager position is a great opportunity for an experienced quantity surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying, including cost estimates, commercial management, variation, and claims management, monitoring project budgets.

Key responsibilities include developing cost plans and project capital estimates during the design phase, delivering updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones, preparing cost reports and estimate packages, and regularly presenting to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A Defence clearance or Australian Citizenship as minimum.
  • Quantity Surveying or related degree.
  • > 5 years' experience.
  • AIQS or RICS member is ideal but not essential.
  • Experience in CostX is preferred.
  • Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Experience preparing Cost Management estimates and reports.
  • Experience with advising clients on value management and value engineering.
  • Experience with key aspects of business development.
  • Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Drive to be proactive and self-motivated.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with project teams.
  • Leadership skills, ability to manage juniors in a team.

Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Location

Turner & Townsend has offices in various locations around the world. This role can be based in any of these locations, subject to negotiation.
