Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team at our production facility. As an integral member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting the production crew through preventive maintenance and breakdown support.

The ideal candidate will be a trade-qualified Electrician with previous experience working in an industrial environment. You will have a high level of fault-finding expertise, PLC diagnostic skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Carry out electrical repairs on fixed plant, with a focus on planned and predictive maintenance.
  • Work closely with the Operations team during breakdowns, fault finding, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Effectively respond to callouts and unplanned maintenance in a timely manner, minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain PLCs and circuitry.
  • Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs according to site requirements.
  • Focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide direction to contractors and work groups as required.
Requirements:
  • Trade-qualified Electrician (valid unrestricted license).
  • Demonstrated experience working as an Electrician in an industrial setting.
  • High level of fault-finding expertise.
  • PLC diagnostic experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • A confident, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
  • A team player with flexibility and ability to work autonomously.
