About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technical Officer to join our team. As an Electrical Technical Officer, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating electrical maintenance works, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

You will work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance our electrical systems. Your expertise in electrical safety and regulations will be essential in ensuring compliance with AS3000, Qld Electrical Safety Act & Regulations, and WH&S Act.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with colleagues, external service providers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate electrical maintenance works, ensuring timely completion and efficient resource allocation.
  • Conduct audits of works and paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process claims for payment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring prompt payment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external service providers to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Certificate III Engineering – Electrical / Electronic Trade.
  • Current Queensland approved Electrical Mechanics Licence.
  • Current Queensland C Class Drivers Licence.
  • General Construction Induction White Card.
  • High level of competency in web-based systems and MS Office suite.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
