Asset Management Systems Administrator

Council is seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to manage the organization's asset systems effectively.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide high-level service delivery and effective management of assets in accordance with accounting standards and fair value measurement principles.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain a register of assets using sound engineering, environmental, financial, and safety principles.
- Develop and maintain asset management systems and associated registers.
- Collect and record accurate physical and financial information for infrastructure projects.
- Correlate information associated with maintenance activities, including planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Provide infrastructure information for asset renewal and replacement programs.
- Produce and maintain compilation of asset plans using GIS and AMS.
- Provide accurate data input and records management using data capture devices and systems.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in applying accounting policies and principles for asset management.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles and data maintenance requirements for accurate details within an asset register.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with good analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Certificate IV in Asset Management, Engineering or equivalent, or four years' experience in a related environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and systems.
- Experience in infrastructure condition auditing, data collection methodologies, maintenance prioritization, and statutory reporting.
