About the Role

This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for leading our service crew team, working Dayshift only, and keeping things running smoothly and safely.

  • Coordinate a team of service crew to complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs in a variety of mining areas and infrastructure.
  • Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance and training to less experienced team members to develop their skills.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, recommend solutions, and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant procedures.

Safety is paramount - lead by example, spot hazards, and help eliminate risk-taking behaviors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 18 months of service crew experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills.
  • A minimum of 3 years of underground mining experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • A current manual C Class Driver's Licence.
  • A Dangerous Goods Security Card.
  • Working at Heights certification.
  • A current Police Clearance.
