Job Opportunity

Location: Kalgoorlie, WA

The successful applicant will join our team on a full-time permanent basis to oversee the hands-on supervision of a crew of tradespeople and undertake mechanical repairs and maintenance to equipment.

This role involves providing equipment management solutions to clients while ensuring work is completed in a collaborative team environment with a strong focus on safety.

Our mobile workshop and on-site repair services cater to a large machine fleet, performing servicing, planned shuts, and minor repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a crew of 19 tradespeople and delegate tasks efficiently.
  • Provide timely updates and liaise between the team, higher management, and clients.
  • Demonstrate best practices and assist with troubleshooting complex faults.
  • Perform quality control on completed assignments to meet client expectations.
  • Be prepared to work varying shifts and support business needs on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mobile Plant or Heavy Diesel/Auto Electrician Trade Qualification with post-trade experience.
  • Previous leadership or leading hand experience desirable.
  • Understanding of Caterpillar equipment and warranty process.
  • Knowledge of AMT, SIS, DBS for daily work order control and management.
  • Strong mechanical skills including fault finding and diagnostic techniques.
  • Ability to provide positive leadership and manage people effectively.
