Due to their excellent reputation within the local and interstate infrastructure market, a leading engineering consultancy is experiencing project workload.
They are now seeking an additional bridge engineer at an intermediate level, to join their team on a permanent basis.The client offers a challenging mix of structural renewal design projects as well as complex engineering investigations including inspections, structural assessment, load rating, and modification and strengthening strategies.Your responsibilities will include :Technical design and assessment of bridges, including load ratingsConducting inspections of bridges and other civil structural assetsDelivering bridge rehabilitation schemes, including strengthening and replacement worksProviding both site and project management for a series of minor worksWriting technical engineering reportsTraveling locally and interstate as requiredAs well as exposure to the above, you will have :A Bachelor of EngineeringAn intermediate level of demonstrated bridge design experienceA strong knowledge of relevant codes and standardsExcellent communication and presentation skillsExtensive experience working on Australian road and rail bridge projectsStrong report writing skillsExperience managing project stakeholdersThis opportunity offers you :Superb career development as a bridge engineer, with a specific focus on practical engineeringFull support and mentoring from the company's Principal and Senior Structural EngineersJob security with a strong pipeline of secured work.Flexible work optionsOnsite parking and close to PTCompetitive salary dependent on experienceFor more information on this role, or other structural engineering opportunities, please contact Matt Sampson ator apply online.All conversations will be strictly confidential.
