Role Overview

The UNSW Health Translation Hub is seeking an Eportfolio Educational Designer/Technologist to support the implementation of the Faculty of Medicine & Health's new ePortfolio platform, Risr.

This role will work collaboratively with academic and professional staff to deploy the platform in the School of Health Sciences and stage its rollout across the Faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with academic and professional staff to implement and deploy the Risr ePortfolio platform.
  • Assist in accreditation, workplace-based assessment, programmatic assessment, and tracking student progress using Risr.
  • Support the initial deployment in the School of Health Sciences and the staged rollout across the Faculty of Medicine & Health.
  • Design and develop appropriate forms, templates, and reports using an ePortfolio platform in collaboration with teaching staff.
  • Pilot new educational technologies, implement workflows, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Organise, design, deliver, and evaluate professional development workshops for staff (face-to-face and online).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in technology-enabled learning, teaching, and/or curriculum for higher education.
  • Experience using ePortfolio platforms, preferably Risr, for accreditation, workplace-based assessment, programmatic assessment, and tracking student progress.
  • Strong technical support and problem-solving skills with initiative and ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent digital skills in Microsoft Office suite and Power Platform.
  • Knowledge of Power Apps in teaching contexts is desirable.
